Ok Rui, I have arrived, 30-minute flight time, cruised at 1,500 feet all the way. Wow, at least you didn't get into the trees. I brought some extra long fuel hose, and I think I have enough to transfer the fuel from you plane to mine. I really don't want to get out in all that snow with out skis on. We will transfer the fuel, then we will takeoff and land on the ice and drop off the fuel and you will head back with me. Once we get the fuel off your aircraft, LeRoy Crossthread will see if he can get the gear in place and then they will tow it up to the hangar and then check for damage. Once the gear is in place he may lock it down, then remove the prop on the left engine. If they aircraft is good to go, I may get a ferry permit and fly it back to our service center on one engine.
It looks like we have enough fuel hose, and Crossthread says we are ready to transfer fuel over to my plane. Leroy said it don't look good for towing the aircraft. Capt Terry Tyler, has a Skycrane in Anchorage, and I think he can lift the Beech, and maybe haul it back to our PANC Service Center. I am not for ferrying a Beech-18, 70-miles back to ANC on one engine.
OK Rui, in thirty minutes we will be loaded and off to the townsite.
Sandy
