PIREP Straw 4 Anchorage Nikolai Anchorage

Great views of the moon on the horizon after taking off from ANC in 1/4 mile visibility. Low winds, fast flight. Only one slight problem - In addition to taking all the seats out of my new Panther and christening it with it's first bales of straw, I discovered after takeoff, a very strong and disagreeable odor as the cabin heated up! - Apparently the guys in the hangar were too lazy to walk to the admin bldg to relieve themselves and had been using one of the bales as a urinal. I'll have a little talk with them on my return. Heading back to ANC.
