Transfer flight: Finger Lake - McGrath

I left Finger Lake and headed for MCG passing two more Checkpoints: Rainy Pass and Rohn. It was an interesting flight through the valleys in good visibility. It was fun flying this way relying on the GPS map. Once I had cleared the mountain range I climbed to about 4000 feet and picked up the MCG VOR and set a direct course and headed to the VOR with engaged autopilot. Landing at MCG was no problem, bounced only twice. This Bell 412 is really tough to land...
