"Hello Crew,

At the present time, Capt Butler is on the way to McGrath, with 390-bales of straw & 330- cases of HEET. These are for the McGrath checkpoint, and the checkpoints of Rohn, Takotna, Ophir, Iditarod and Shageluk.

NOTE...Jim Novak, I need your reports for Fuel-2a & Fuel-4b. Pat Hanna, I need reports on Fuel-5b & Fuel-5c. I need these reports soon so I can close out the fuel flights.

All the straw flights for Skwenta, Finger Lake, Rainy Pass & Nikolai, are assigned. The following pilots have straw flights, Hashry Adijan, Angel Castillo, Terry Tyler, Bookie Westbrook, Dave Bernard, Rui Laureano, Christian Breuer, Rudy Boot, Vic Alesi, Chico Aguiar and Rodger Butler. Some are flying their assignments tomorrow. Go to our Iditarod page and click on, Straw Stocking Flight Assignments, and see what work you have to do. BTW...I'll trade jobs with you.

For a small crew, the smallest since the 1999 Iditarod, we are doing good. I hope you like the new system as good as I do. Once the race flights start we will go back to our regular system. Flights will be posted over our Yahoogroups, and you will call a flight by posting to the forum, so it will be call and go fly it.

OK, get your flight reports to me as soon as possible. I am going to work on the straw flights from our Supply Base in McGrath, before I go to bed. I will not post them until tomorrow.
