PIREP Vic: Straw 15 Unalakleet - New Shaktoolik - Unalakleet

Hello boss,

After wrapping up straw-14 there was still some time left in the
afternoon so I went ahead and reloaded with another 8 bales and set
out for the short round trip to New Shaktoolik. Wind was still
blowing hard out of the East so again used runway 8 for departure.
Cruised on up the coast at 2500 feet, landed, and offloaded the
aircraft.

By the time I got things off-loaded it was 4 PM and daylight was
fading. Still enough time to get back to PAUN...this turned out to
be one of those short but sweet flights with a great sunset off the
starboard side of the airplane. I dawdled a bit on the way back
enjoying the view and thus spent an extra gallon of gas...I suspect
this will come out of my paycheck.
