These flights are for delivery of bulk fuel to some of the Iditarod checkpoints. Your will be hauling, avgas, jet fuel, unleaded gasoline, HEET, propane, etc. You will pickup all fuel products at our Anchorage (PANC) Fuel Farm. Our fuel tanker aircraft are, C-123, it has two-1,000 gallon bulk tanks. The DC-3, has one 650 gallon tank, and the Beech-18, has one 300-gallon tank. We also have portable bulk tanks we can put in other aircraft if needed.
NOTE...Avgas & unleaded gas weighs 6# per gallon. Jet Fuel 6.7# per gallon. HEET is 10# per case.

Flight No. "FUEL-1a"...Anchorage (PANC) to Skwentna (PASW), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 650 gallons of Avgas to Skwentna Airport. Fuel weight, 3,900# Use the DC-3.

Flight No. "FUEL-1b"...Anchorage (PANC) to Skwentna (PASW), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 300 gallons of Jet fuel, total weight is, 2,010-pounds. Use the Beech-18.

Flight No. "FUEL-1c"...Anchorage (PANC) to Skwentna Townsite, return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 300 gallons of unleaded gas, total weight is, 1,800-pounds. Use the Beech-18.
Land on the river ice, and unload near the gas pump at the townsite, NOT the airport.

Flight No. "FUEL-1d"...Anchorage (PANC) to Skwentna Townsite, return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 65-cases of HEET, total weight, 650#. Drop off by the Skwentna checkpoint.
Use a, C182, C206, C208 DHC-2, & PC-6 Porter.

Flight No. "FUEL-2a"...Anchorage (PANC) to Rainy Pass (6AK), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling the first load of 10 sealed fuel cans of Avgas. These cans hold 10-gallons each and 60-pounds. Your total load would be for fuel is, 600-pounds. Fuel used in snowmobiles. Use Cessna 182 or DHC-2 Beaver.

Flight No. "FUEL-2b"...Anchorage (PANC) to Rainy Pass (6AK), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling the last load of 10 sealed fuel cans of Avgas. These cans hold 10-gallons each and 60-pounds. Your total load would be for fuel is, 600-pounds. Fuel used in snowmobiles. Use C182, C206, PC-6, DHC-2.

You will be hauling 65 cases of HEET. Each case has 12 bottles and weigh 10-pounds. Your total weight for 65 cases is, 650-pounds. HEET is used by mushers to fuel their cookers. Use C182, C206, PC-6 or DHC-2.

Flight No. "FUEL-2d"...Anchorage (PANC) to Rainy Pass (6AK), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling five-100 pound tanks of propane. Your total weight is, 650-pounds.
Drop them off at the Rainy Pass Lodge. Use a helicopter.

Flight No. "FUEL-3a"...Anchorage (PANC) to Finger Lake, return to ANC Fuel Farm:
NOTE...You will need the Skwentna/Finger Lake Scenery, by Rui Laureano, to work this flight.
You will be hauling 50 cases of HEET. Each case has 12 bottles and weigh 10-pounds. Your total weight for 50 cases is, 500-pounds. HEET is used by mushers to fuel their cookers. Use C182, DHC-2.

Flight No. "FUEL-3b"...Anchorage (PANC) to Finger Lake, return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 15 sealed fuel cans of unleaded gasoline. Each can holds 10 gallons Total weight is, 900#.
Drop them off at the Winterlake Lodge. Use Bell 412, DHC-2, C206.

Flight No. "FUEL-4a"...Anchorage (PANC) to Nikolai (5NI), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 70 cases of HEET, for a total weight of, 700# . Use a C182, C206, DHC-2 or PC-6.

Flight No. "FUEL-4b"...Anchorage (PANC) to Nikolai (5NI), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 15 sealed fuel cans of unleaded gasoline. Each can holds 10 gallons Total weight is, 900#.
This fuel will be used mostly for snowmobiles. Use a C182, C206, DHC-2 or PC-6.

Flight No. "FUEL-5a"...Anchorage (PANC) to Kaltag (KAL), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 650 gallons of bulk avgas. Kaltag has two underground fuel tanks, one for avgas and one for Jet fuel. The tank fill pipe is right beside the beacon light. Use the DC-3 Tanker.

You will be hauling 650 gallons of bulk Jet fuel. Kaltag has two underground fuel tanks, one for avgas and one for Jet fuel. The tank fill pipe is right beside the beacon light. Use the DC-3 Tanker.

Flight No. "FUEL-5c"...Anchorage (PANC) to Kaltag (KAL), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 185-cases of HEET, total weight is, 1,850#. Drop off beside the beacon light. Use Beech 1900.

Flight No. "FUEL-6"...Anchorage (PANC) to Unalakleet (PAUN), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 1,000 gallons of bulk Jet fuel and 1,000 gallons of Avgas. Unalakleet has two underground fuel tanks, one for avgas and one for Jet fuel. The tank filler pipe is located beside the red & white checkerboard box in front of the hangar. Inside this box is the refueling pump. Use the C-123 Tanker.

Flight No. "FUEL-7"...Anchorage (PANC) to Flat (FLT), return to ANC Fuel Farm:
You will be hauling 650 gallons of bulk Unleaded gasoline. The mushers pass this area on their way to the Iditarod townsite, about 8 road miles from Flat. Snowmobiles patrolling the trail will need some of this fuel.
Unload at one of the 3-large buildings at the approach end of Rwy-25. Flat has a 4,000 foot grass/dirt based Rwy.
It is best to land on Rwy-7 and depart on Rwy-25. Use the DC-3 Fuel Tanker.
